Meanwhile, over here in Southern Oregon, Jo and I were on a road trip round Oregon for a few days late last week, but I got back on the bike on Monday and went for a 37 kms ride, with 359 m of climbing:
That was probably my last ride for a few weeks as we're off to Southern California on Sunday for 10 days, returning home from there on 14th July.
There have been lots of other solo etc rides from John Meaden, Iain Wright, Malcolm Lodge and, of course, Mike Reilly, who seems to be trying to set some kind of record in terms of distance and height. One of his latest trips (with Carol) was a loop round Inverurie, Rothienorman and Methlick - a total of 86 kms with 773 m of climbing!
