"Thurs morning ride. ..
Jo Mo's camera suffered a power failure so I got out my box camera. ... The (drunken) worm's eye view might need an edit!!
This was at the view point at the hairpin bend where we usually stop before assault on long pull up to shooting greens.
Sorry I missed the opportunity to capture John P getting horizontal again at Finzean woods. .
Cheers Drew"

The group had split in to two, with both lots heading to Finzean via different routes. The above photos were of the group of 6 who chose the harder route. Mike then provided a couple of photos from the group of 8 who chose the "easier" option:

The stats for the group of 6 were 40 kms and 604 m, with the 8 on the easier route some 5-6 kms less and under half the climbing.
The above ride was the 132nd Freewheelers group ride on this year's database, with 37 riders having been out at least once. On top of this, 19 FW's on Strava have recorded 515 solo cycles to date. I'm pleased to report that Colin Kilgour, an original Freewheeler, is on the mend after a prolonged bout of painful shingles and has been out with me for a couple of short rides recently.
