It was my 3rd outing in 4 days this morning as I headed south out of Grants Pass towards Applegate River Golf Club (
http://applegategolf.com/) where I stopped for some much needed refreshment - a can of Mountain Dew to be exact - or Mountain "Doo" as I had to pronounce it to make myself understood. No scones available but the blueberry muffin went down well.
Here's some photos:

Bit of a climb out of the creek then back downhill towards Grants Pass. 17.5 miles in all. Detailed stats here -

Finished just in time as temperature heading towards triple digits for the 3rd day in a row. Too dangerous to go out in the afternoons, especially as there may be some dry lightning storms later on if the pressure keeps building up. These flashes tend to ignite the undergrowth on the mountains and that's how most of the huge wildfires start.
