Not the shortest day cycle

I've been corrected - Monday 21st wasn't the shortest day this year - it was Tuesday 22nd.

This morning (Thursday), 4 Freewheelers went for a cycle - apparently to Myrebird, but Dick's Strava went awry somehow - it's only showing a distance of 2.5 kms. He did manage to send a couple of photos, however. Firstly, Platties:

The water level's not quite as high as as it was a couple of weeks ago - see last week's Piper's Photo of the Week (taken by yours truly) to see how high it can get.

Yesterday (Wednesday) saw the return of Ken Page from his extended break in Thailand and he joined me in a ride up to Platform 22. My Strava was working - we covered 29 kms with 269 metres of climbing - https://www.strava.com/activities/455014032. No photo, however.
