Forgive me for corrupting Pete Seeger's famous song title (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pZa3KtkVpQ), but what happened to all the hardy Freewheelers this afternoon? Only an ever-so-slightly jet-lagged John Meaden made it along to the Guide Hut at 1 pm to join me in a short run.
It was overcast with a very slight drizzle at the start, but this soon disappeared - as forecast - and conditions were fine for what is now apparently just a pre-amble to tomorrow morning's re-scheduled ride.
John and I opted to head east along the Way, turning up at Myrebird, then through Crathes and out past Deeside Brewery where we made an unscheduled stop and had a chat with Neil, the brewer and general dogsbody. Neil eventually bribed us to leave him alone by giving each of us a couple of free samples - just as well John had his rucksack with him.
Chinking along the road, we headed towards the tip and up through the woods and back via Burnett Park, where we took the team photo:
Strava says we did 22 kms - https://www.strava.com/activities/446003546
