Sunshine rides

The sun's out and everyone's out on their bikes. The usual Monday afternoon ride was fairly well attended judging by this poor quality team photo (taken from Strava):

Hugh Riches made his debut, sporting a natty pair of shoes:

The ride to Drum, with a scone stop at the Milton, was 34 kms with 321 m of climbing.

Those of us that couldn't make the Monday ride went out on a beautiful Tuesday morning. John McWhinnie tested out his dodgy back and joined Keith, Colin and I on his first ride since 2nd May. We were also graced by the presence of Ken Black, who had spent Monday rock climbing on Lochnagar with Bob Elder. We decided Platform 22 would be our destination, but via the eastern route past Woodend Barn and along the Brathens road.

When we got to Platform 22, who should arrive at the same time but occasional Freewheeler Malcolm Lodge out on another of his long road bike trips, so he joined us for coffee:

l-r: Keith Gray, Malcolm Lodge, Ian Stewart, John McWhinnie, Colin Kilgour and Ken Black
Our return was along the old railway track and via the golf club, Campfield and finally Home Farm and Burnett Park - a total of 35 kms with 344 m of climbing - a fraction more than the Monday ride.
