We took the Deeside Way to start with, but, when we got to Crathes, we crossed the football pitches and over the stile for the river ride. Back up to the Deeside Way again, then clambered over the padlocked gate to do the reverse route that 13 of us had done the previous Monday. This time, when we got to Park bridge, the team photo was in focus:
Keith Gray, Ian Stewart, Scott Hunter & Peter Seago |
The reverse route was the by now fairly traditional loop back through Drumshalloch via the recording studio, but with one little twist - Peter took us on a new (to me) off road section for a mile or so near Drum Castle.
Strava records that the distance we covered was 38 kms with 219 m of climbing.
