"Last Thursday was wet and forecast to get worse
I put a message on the mail and Bob joined us at Tease at 11 for a coffee
We did the Deeside Way , Crathes , out the north side to the the recording studio then Drumshalloch farm track and back to Tease via the Brathens road and Burnett park
22.5 k and 260m
We enjoyed the ride but had to clean the mud off the seats in Tease"
John Morton reports on Monday's ride:
"The later start today confused some of the team, who had sloped off to town for a gander at e-bikes and arrived with icecream - it was a fine day after all.
Around 35km with 360 metres up."

Dick and Jack had therefore arrived first, with John's Larkin & Morton, Drew, Les, Jeff, Iain Wright all joining for 1.30. Mike & Carol didn't join, but were spotted flying by in Banchory - apparently rushing to the golf.
We agreed the destination scone stop as Drum Castle, and with Les in the lead, headed off along the Deeside Way to Milton. . The route took us up through Crathes castle Gardens and along Coupers road. Finally we reached 'the big climb' towards drum grounds and headed into the castle courtyard for a snack stop.
Several americano's and a mint tea were ordered together with various scones. National Trust they say, but Trust wasn't extended in our direction. We must have looked a bit dodgy, and Les was sent inside with a fiver per head to pay up front (National Trussed??) . John M handed over his NT loyalty card which was duly stamped many times for the full drinks order :)
... Blah de blah politics; blah de blah Nicola; blah de blah Trump; oh and the tennis...
After which it was the race home with Jack and the two John's favouring the longer easterly downhill route, whilst the others went the shorter westerly exit to Drumoak. Fast pedaling (with Jacks shouts of encouragement) meant that JJJ team had caught up with the rest of the crew as we left Drumoak.
Around 35km with 360 metres up."
