"Seven cyclists and two electricians turned out. Ian Sh pointed his finger at me and forced me to be the leader so I put forward a couple of ideas which were rejected before the group headed off in the general direction of Finzean by the river, up to Shooting Greens and down the Tillygarmand farm road ....except for the ebikers Les and Dick optimistically followed by Mike who disappeared up the track before Shooting Greens towards Hill of Tillylair to rejoin the group down on the main road. All arrived at Finzean except for Mike. There was no phone signal and the wifi was down so it took a 3/4 hour to find out he was okay and in Fine Fettle ...not sure where that is but seems to be somewhere round back of Scolty! He had been unable to keep up with the ebikes on the uphill section, missed the turn off and gone away round the forest roads round Scolty emerging on road at far side of Strachan.
Meanwhile we all enjoyed our scones, especially Jack's
sparrow...before heading back to Strachan (meeting Mike heading out), and home
by Mill of Cammie.
A showery sort of afternoon but very pleasant most of the
time.

Ian Sharp sent another photo from his trip to Copenhagen:
Ian's comment was "Have found a pre-Christmas drinks bicycle for the Freewheelers - they all pedal and drink beer - but we need a responsible driver ....hic 🍻🚴🏻". Coincidentally, I spotted several of these vehicles when I as down south in Savannah, Georgia. Can't see it happening in Banchory!
