Classic P22 ride

Friday afternoon and the sun was shining - 5 of us met up at the re-start of the old railway line at Burnett Park - Nigel, Keith and Archie were all battery powered whilst Ken P and I drove under our own steam.

Up the forest tracks and down past Archie's back garden and over to Home Farm, then the usual route to Platform 22 where we sat outside with Emma serving and David and Dean slaving away creating the new greenway that will qualify for their off-road parking requirements:

We took in the golf course loop on the way back and decided, as it was both a booze cruise and a nice day, to have a quick beer on the lawn at the Tor-na-Coille. Very nice - until our elder statesman, true to form, suggested it was a bit too cold for him, so we ended back inside, reminiscing about the many happy times we'd spent there in the squash years.
