Crathes

Another debutant today - Les Gray on a brief stop in Banchory from his pad in Portugal. Les has been doing some pretty serious cycling in the Algarve where his main bike is, but he decided that he needed another new bike in this country to join us:

Dick's match report from today:

"Four hardy soils set off at 10am from Guide Hut on a  dreich morning some 10 degrees colder than previous day.  Colin, Scott, Les and myself cycled along to Crathes then up to the Castle tea room for early coffee break. Les was sporting new bike purchase with all the gear see photo above. From Crathes we cycled out the North Entrance towards Harestone where Colin had a narrow escape with a lorry. The driver did not see him. Perhaps yellow jackets might be safer.  From there we cycled down to the Deeside Way then back to Banchory. Total distance 19km"
