Another Grants Pass cycle

I went for a slightly longer run this morning. The weatherman had promised us a return to 2-digit temperatures, albeit with a threat of some smoke in the upper atmosphere from the forest fires raging 30 miles or so south of here, so I set off early in the morning whilst it was still relatively cool (about 75-80 F).

It was another voyage of exploration for me and I was able to stop several times to look around - and rest and refresh. My route ended up being over 24 miles, but my elapsed time was nearly 3 hours, so you can see that it was no race. The full stats and route are here - http://www.strava.com/activities/175406616

You can just see the slight smokiness in the sky above.

A couple of the Hellgate Adventure boats went roaring by, heading for the white waters.
