Grandson-sitting duties meant I set off much later than I intended for my carefully planned morning cycle today. I had mapped out a route, but, of course, I had never actually travelled it before so didn't know quite what to expect.
In the end, the run was 30 miles with a bit of climbing, which, with the heat building up, meant frequent refuelling stops - or photo opportunities as we like to call them. My elapsed time was 3 hours 22 mins. Here's the full stats - http://www.strava.com/activities/176462352
