"On a dreich wet Thursday morning Ian Rob Malcolm Scott and myself met at the Guide Hut 9 am. After some discussion we decided to take the bikes on the cars to Dinnet. The idea being to avoid the bad weather which was coming from the East. However as it turned out the wet weather followed us. We then decided to take the anti clockwise route along the North Side of Loch Kinnord over Burn o Vat and then down to the Deeside Way. This route proved a bit more difficult than the clockwise route. Scott gave me another yellow card for difficult routes. So I guess 2 yellows means a Red!! We stopped for coffee at the newly named Riverside Cottage formerly the Crannoch for coffee and scones. However they were rather busy and sold out of scones but had Apple cakes. Rob remarked the cakes were a tad dry and made this known to the owner who took it on board, saying they were all made fresh on the premises. The coffee however was good and they made us welcome considering how wet we were. Suitably refreshed we proceeded back the Deeside way to Dinnet. Route and photo attached. Dick

Not sure whether this is a case of a new camera required, or shoot the cameraman?
