"Last Thursday Ian S, Malcolm H, Archie Cook, Scott H and I ,Robin, met up. We cycled to the Glassel road ,then east cross country to join the road leading to the old ITE centre. Then onto the Raemoir Road for a few hundred yards . Then due east to the recording studio on the Hirn Road which we cycled on for a few yards before turning right onto the road leading East past the paintball wood. Then South to the N. Deeside Road and back along the Deeside Way to Tesco. After a full debate on possible venues for coffee , Tease was "the chosen one". There we decided by mutual agreement and without any evidence (apart from our tired muscles) that we had covered 24 miles and 900 feet of elevation( Archie suggested 900metres but revised his estimate when I pointed out that a Munro was 913 metres!). WE did get an unsuspecting passer by to take our photo on Scott's phone but the horrible result has not reached me yet.Only minor incident to report this week was Malcolm toppling off a pavement and falling sideways against a wall !"
Meanwhile, our Man in the Algarve is clocking up the miles - check out this morning's (Tuesday) ride - http://www.strava.com/activities/212683172 and Sunday's - http://www.strava.com/activities/211837826
