I was out at the crack of dawn again this morning (Thursday) - our last full day here before we head off home after our monster 6 weeks Down Under. I got 27.5 kms in before the heat got too near 30 C again - https://www.strava.com/activities/256827665
Despite the exceptionally early hour, the esplanade was packed again. I've never seen such an active nation - walkers, runners, cyclists, kayakers, scullers (if there's such a thing), paddle board riders, swimmers and gymnasts everywhere. I think, however, that I would probably be out doing something every morning if our weather was like this.
I have still a bit of work a to do on my "G'day", however - it sounds so false I usually just revert to "Morning" and that's a sure sign of a Brit at large.
Here I am at my furthest away point on Henley Pier:
Look forward to the news from Deeside when you lot finally get up.
Skiing going well, back on the bike next week. Are you ever coming back?
