John P's accompanying narrative was "Ian, no riding today, but coffee was imbibed! Unfortuantely we didn’t capture everyone who turned-up for a coffee; the four below plus John Meaden, Scott and Ken. Whilst most of us walked to the High Street, it is worthy of mention that John M got his car out for the 2 minute ride to Banchory from Burnett Park (Name and shame you know!). Jack also, but he had done a ‘school run’ to Strachan for his good lady - so forgiven :-)

Today (Monday) the weather was a bit kinder and 9 FW's took the trip up to Torphins via various routes - this was the way Messrs Reilly, Meaden, Larkin and Leslie chose:
