The afternoon group was led by John Meaden, who never lets me down. Here's his match report and photos:
"A few of us could not make the morning ride so we went out at 1300 - Jack , Aidan and myself . The morning group had just returned as we headed out towards Mill of Cammie and the Garrol hill . We climbed the full hill into some snow on the sides although the road was not icy .
After a brief stop at the Nine Stanes we took the long downhill then left up
the minor road and back onto the main Slug road .
After a fast downhill ( high windchill) we stopped at the Milton - the morning group had kindly left us a few scones - maybe because they did not cycle far enough to deserve any ?
We want back up the tracks in Crathes , out of the West gate and home , Jack direct , Aidan and I via the Brewery and Cowshed as the hail and sleet came back on .

On another matter entirely, perhaps you may have noted that Tarland is planning some major extensions to their biking trails:
Bit more challenging/longer than the existing ones.
